The Centre will work towards domestic and international recognition of Vietnam’s new design capabilities and competitiveness and aim, in the longer term, to establish Vietnam as a regional design centre for handicraft. The following activities could be performed: Develop branding and promotional materials: Magazines, newsletters, handbooks etc… Organize design promotion activities in Vietnam and in the world: Participate in TV talks, highlighting new Vietnamese developments; Develop network of Design institutions in the world with craft sector in Vietnam; Promote Vietnamese design at the international events; Promote design competitions… Keep contact with craft associations in neighboring countries, share experiences and envisage joint design promotion possibilities.
